Communication Program Options
1. Schedule a Course
If you know what course you want to offer, we can quickly accommodate your schedule. Our courses are typically 1, 2, or 3 days long, and are intended for groups of 15-20 participants.
2. Create a Course
If you don’t know which of our courses would be exactly right for you, we can combine elements of existing courses, or we can create a new one. Course length can be 1 day or as many days as you would like.
3. Facilitated Workshops
If you aren’t sure that a course is right for your group, we can provide a facilitated workshop in which participants address specific topics or problems and, with the aid of an experienced facilitator, work together toward solutions. Facilitated workshops can be short, informal sessions, or can be longer projects that include pre-program work, and follow-up. Such workshops are often beneficial for departments or organizations as they explore new directions or policies that involve a variety of opinions and interests.
4. Individual Coaching
If you wish to provide assistance to individuals who would benefit from concentrated attention, we can provide a coach to work in person or by telephone and email to focus on specific issues and maintain privacy. Coaching programs can be whatever length is necessary to achieve goals. Typical coaching programs begin with 4 sessions, preceded by an intake meeting.
5. Short Cuts
Some communication topics can be explored in a short period of time. For an introduction to a topic, or a refresher of skills that are getting stale, or as an interactive, entertaining addition to a conference or meeting, these lively sessions can serve many purposes. Short Cuts are usually 1 to 3 hours long, sometimes offered as a lunch activity, and can be a one-time offering, or they can be structured as a series of mini-modules on a general topic. We can work with you to tailor a Short Cut that incorporates topics that will interest your group.
